About
George E. Blake, MD, FACC, FHFSA, is a cardiologist at St. Luke’s. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease, advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Heart Failure Society of America.
Dr. Blake’s areas of interest and expertise include heart failure, cardiomyopathies, cardiac amyloidosis, coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, hypertension and cardiac imaging.
Dr. Blake received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine and completed internal medicine training at the University of Texas at Houston Health Science Center.
He also completed fellowships in cardiovascular disease at the University of Kansas Medical Center and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology at the Krannert Institute of Cardiology at Indiana University.
Dr. Blake believes that taking the time to listen to patients’ concerns and help them understand their cardiac conditions and treatment options is essential. His goal is to provide exceptional care and help every patient achieve the best quality of life possible.
