About

Izuchukwu Okonkwo, MD, is an internal medicine physician at St. Luke's. He provides care for adults, with clinical interests shaped by his experience supporting patients in a variety of health care settings. Dr. Okonkwo values clear communication and careful attention to each patient's needs.

Dr. Okonkwo earned his medical degree from American University of Antigua College of Medicine in Antigua and Barbuda. He also holds a bachelor's degree in industrial chemistry from Abia State University in Nigeria. He has experience working with young and elderly patients in various capacities, giving him a broad understanding of patient care from multiple perspectives. He is fluent in Igbo.
