Jennifer Sanford, MD is a board-certified general, vascular, and trauma critical care surgeon practicing vascular surgery at St. Luke’s. Dr. Sanford uses surgical and minimally invasive procedures to treat carotid artery disease, peripheral artery disease, abdominal aortic aneurysms, and other arterial conditions, as well as venous disorders like venous insufficiency, reflux, and varicose veins.

Dr. Sanford completed her vascular surgery fellowship and General Surgery Residency at Saint Louis University and holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Missouri—Kansas City. Her commitment to medical education and leadership is evident in her previous roles as an adjunct assistant professor and the Medical Director of the Vascular Lab at Boone Health Hospital.

Dr. Sanford offers comprehensive vascular care, including medical management, angiography, wound care, education, and surgical intervention, with a focus on evidence-based practices and quality improvement to enhance patient outcomes.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Sanford enjoys running, hiking, biking, arts, and spending time with her family.
