Kailyn Baalman, MD, is a family medicine physician at St. Luke’s who provides primary care for patients of all ages. Her professional interests include geriatric medicine, women’s health, mental health care, and in-office procedures.
Dr. Baalman earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford, where she completed the Rural Medical Education Program. She completed her family medicine residency at St. Luke’s Family Medicine Residency.
Dr. Baalman chose family medicine because it allows her to care for patients through every stage of life and develop meaningful relationships with individuals and families. She enjoys partnering with patients to help them understand their health, navigate medical decisions, and achieve their personal wellness goals. Her approach to care is rooted in listening, compassion, and providing practical guidance that supports each patient’s quality of life. Outside of work, Dr. Baalman enjoys spending time with her family on the family farm.
