Katie Upton, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner at St. Luke’s, specializing in cardiovascular care. She guides patients through recovery, supports them in managing chronic heart conditions, and partners with them to develop preventive strategies that promote lasting heart health.
Katie earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Nursing from the University of Southern Indiana, where she also completed her post-master’s Family Nurse Practitioner certificate. She has cared for patients as a registered nurse in cardiovascular recovery, intensive care, and emergency medicine, and has also encouraged future nurses as an adjunct instructor.
Katie is passionate about helping patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their treatment. She values education, collaboration, and compassionate care, empowering patients and families to play an active role in cardiovascular wellness and overall quality of life.
