Kayla Thomason, DO, is a board-certified family medicine physician at St. Luke’s who provides primary care for patients ages 6 and older. Dr. Thomason offers preventive, acute and chronic care, including physical exams, diagnostic testing, medication management, women’s health services, gender affirming care, joint injections, dermatologic procedures, osteopathic manipulative treatment and support for common mental health needs.
Dr. Thomason earned her medical degree from A.T. Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her family medicine residency at St. Luke’s Des Peres Hospital. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology from the University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Thomason believes in providing thoughtful, evidencebased care tailored to each patient’s needs. She values patient education and shared decision-making. She strives to help patients better understand their physical and mental health, so they can make informed choices that support their long-term well-being.
