About
Meera Rana, MD, is a board-certified hematologist and oncologist at St. Luke's Center for Cancer Care. Dr. Rana earned her medical degree from the University of Medical and Health Sciences in St. Kitts, and completed her internal medicine residency at St. Louis University Hospital where she served as chief resident. She then completed her hematology and medical oncology fellowship at Wake Forest School of Medicine.
As both a hematologist and medical oncologist, Dr. Rana treats the entire spectrum of cancer and blood diseases. Her clinical interests include solid tumors of the breast, lung and gastrointestinal region. She has an integrated approach to deliver a tailored care plan focused on the individual person.
She is available for both inpatient and outpatient consultations. Dr. Rana is excited to join the large multi-discilinary team at St. Luke's which includes experts in pathology, radiology, radiation oncology, internal medicine, surgery, pulmonology, genetic testing and palliative care.
Dr. Rana is currently accepting new patients at the St. Luke's Cancer Center.
