Syed Zaidi, MD, is an infectious disease specialist at St. Luke’s, where he evaluates and manages a wide spectrum of complex infections with a focus on immunocompromised populations and antimicrobial stewardship.
He previously served as a clinical fellow in infectious diseases at Washington University in St. Louis. Prior to his fellowship, he worked as a hospitalist with Sound Physicians at SSM Health St. Joseph’s in St. Charles, Missouri. He completed his residency at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in New York and earned his medical degree from Dow Medical College in Pakistan.
Dr. Zaidi believes in timely, evidence-based care and values collaborative decision-making with his patients. He is recognized for his contributions to infection control practices and regularly lectures on advanced topics in infectious diseases.
