Dr. Vaishaliben Ahir is a highly trained Endocrinologist and an experienced Internal Medicine specialist.
After completing her medical education in Baroda, India, Dr. Ahir completed her residency at Mercy in St. Louis, then served as a Hospitalist in the same system. Dr. Ahir also completed her fellowship training in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine, and is a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine.
Her areas of interest include diabetes and glucose metabolism, diabetes management technologies, thyroid disorders, PCOS, adrenal disease, pituitary and neuroendocrine conditions, and calcium and bone disorders, such as osteoporosis and vitamin D ailments.
Helping patients manage their chronic conditions with the help of a multidisciplinary team and the specialists in St. Luke’s Medical Group is Dr. Ahir’s main goal.
In addition to English, Dr. Ahir is fluent in Hindi and Gujarati.
