Yan Chu, MD, is a gastroenterologist at St. Luke’s who provides comprehensive care for patients with digestive health conditions. Dr. Chu evaluates and treats disorders affecting the esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver and other parts of the gastrointestinal system, with experience in endoscopic procedures and the management of both common and complex conditions.

Dr. Chu completed gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Kentucky, where she also earned her medical degree. She completed an internal medicine residency at Saint Louis University, where she also served as chief resident. She is board-certified in internal medicine and actively participates in gastroenterology research. Having formed a strong connection to St. Louis during her training, Dr. Chu chose to return and serve a community that she came to know well.
