Frequently Asked Questions

Choosing the right healthcare support during midlife and beyond is an important decision. These frequently asked questions provide an overview of EverWell by St. Luke’s, Institute for Women’s Longevity, including who the program is designed for, membership benefits, personalized care, insurance billing and what you can expect from your EverWell experience.

EverWell is a specialized concierge women’s health practice providing personalized, evidence-based care designed for women navigating the time surrounding menopause and those who want to take a proactive approach to healthy aging.

For an annual fee members benefit from relationship-based care from a dedicated, multidisciplinary team focused on understanding the whole picture of their health and developing an individualized plan that evolves with them over time.

EverWell is designed for women navigating the time surrounding menopause, whether they are experiencing symptoms or health changes or simply want to better understand and proactively support their health as they age.

EverWell takes a comprehensive approach to women’s health during midlife and beyond. Rather than focusing on a single symptom or concern, the clinical team considers how different aspects of your health may be connected — including hormones, metabolism, cardiovascular health, bones, sleep, stress, sexual health and overall well-being.

EverWell intentionally maintains an exclusive patient panel, allowing for longer appointments, enhanced access and a more personalized, relationship-based approach to care.

No. EverWell is designed to enhance, not replace, the care you receive from your regular physicians and clinicians. The practice does not provide pregnancy care, deliveries or routine annual well-woman examinations. Patients should continue seeing their established primary care physician, gynecologist and other specialists for appropriate routine and specialty care.

EverWell brings together a multidisciplinary team dedicated to supporting your health throughout your journey. Your care team includes Dr. Maggie Marcrander, a nurse practitioner and a clinical pharmacist, with dedicated care navigation support from a nurse navigator. Together, the team provides personalized clinical care, medication and treatment expertise, ongoing follow-up and assistance coordinating recommended testing, imaging, referrals and other services.

EverWell members receive priority scheduling with greater appointment availability, including access to same-day and next-day visits. Appointments are scheduled based on clinical need and provider availability.

Membership includes priority scheduling, enhanced communication with the EverWell team, access to extended clinical visits and ongoing follow-up, personalized care navigation and coordination, individualized ongoing care planning, and access to educational resources and select EverWell programs.

Testing and treatment recommendations are individualized based on your symptoms, medical history, risk factors and personal health goals. Recommendations may include laboratory evaluation, hormone-related treatment, imaging, preventive screening, lifestyle interventions or other services when clinically appropriate. Your EverWell team will discuss recommendations with you and develop a care plan based on your individual needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

No. EverWell is not health insurance and does not replace health insurance. Patients should maintain their health insurance coverage. The annual membership fee provides access to the enhanced services and amenities offered through the EverWell concierge model.

Yes. The EverWell membership fee is separate from insurance and is not billed to your insurance plan. Office visits, laboratory testing, imaging and other covered medical services will be billed to insurance when applicable. Coverage and patient financial responsibility depend on your individual insurance plan and the services provided.

Absolutely. EverWell is intended to complement your existing healthcare relationships. Your EverWell team can help coordinate menopause- and longevity-related laboratory testing, imaging, referrals, specialist appointments and other recommended services, including care provided throughout the St. Luke’s network

The complimentary Meet & Greet is an opportunity to meet Dr. Maggie Marcrander, learn more about EverWell and her approach to care, ask questions about the program and determine whether membership is right for you.
