Common Pregnancy Conditions

Common Pregnancy Conditions and Treatments

Our OB/GYNs treat many common pregnancy conditions, including:

Morning Sickness

Many people experience nausea or vomiting during early pregnancy. Eating small meals, staying hydrated, and avoiding certain triggers can help. If your symptoms are severe, our providers offer safe treatment options to help you feel better.

Heartburn During Pregnancy

Heartburn is a common pregnancy symptom caused by hormonal changes and your growing baby. We provide guidance on diet changes and recommend pregnancy-safe medications when needed.

Constipation

Constipation often occurs due to slower digestion during pregnancy. Increasing water intake, eating fiber-rich foods, and staying active can help relieve symptoms.

Pregnancy-Related Swelling

Mild swelling in the feet, ankles, or hands is normal. If swelling becomes sudden or severe, contact your doctor immediately, as it could be a sign of a more serious condition.

Back Pain

Back pain affects many pregnant patients due to posture changes. We offer chiropractic care, advice on stretches, proper body mechanics, and safe exercises to reduce discomfort.

Iron-Deficiency Anemia

Low iron levels can cause fatigue during pregnancy. Our team may recommend iron-rich foods or supplements to support your health and your baby’s development.

Gestational Diabetes

Gestational diabetes is a type of high blood sugar that develops during pregnancy. We create personalized care plans that may include nutrition counseling, glucose monitoring, exercise, and medication if needed.

High Blood Pressure & Preeclampsia

We closely monitor blood pressure throughout your pregnancy. Symptoms such as headaches, vision changes, or sudden swelling should be reported right away. Early treatment helps protect both you and your baby.
